FC Cincinnati Vs Inter Miami Lineups is the only unique way by which you can determine the next winning team of upcoming football matches.
Inter Miami CF will face FC Cincinnati CF in an exciting battle of two of the league’s premier teams. Tata Martino’s side have dominated despite missing Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez on international duty; their dominance can be credited to Tata Martino himself who has led them to glory this season.
Cincinnati will face an uphill challenge when facing Argentina’s speedy attackers, so I expect them to start with Drake Callender, Ian Fray and Marcelo Weigandt as defensive reinforcements in their backline.
MIDFIELD
After Leagues Cup, Major League Soccer play resumed with FC Cincinnati making the long journey down south Florida for an important clash against Inter Miami CF for control of the Shield race and looking to recover from defeats at Atlanta United’s hands.
Miami goalkeeper Callender made a great save in the 31st minute on a close-range shot by FCC’s Kevin Kelsy; Herons defender Tomas Aviles was later dismissed for receiving two yellow cards for colliding with former Inter teammate DeAndre Yedlin in 42nd minute, earning himself an immediate red card and thus ending the match prematurely.
As the game transitioned into its second half, both teams sought to establish dominance in the middle of the field. Cincinnati attempted all they could but they were unable to break through against Herons from Philadelphia.
But that was until the 64th minute when, following a quick transition move initiated by Orange and Blue, Matias Rojas took advantage of being left unmarked in the box to strike for his fifth goal of the season, giving his side an immediate 2-0 advantage.
Inter Miami used numerous substitutions as they attempted to maintain defensive stability against an assault from Cincinnati in the second half. Sergii Kryvtsov, Leonardo Campana, David Ruiz and Benjamin Cremaschi all came on as replacements for Busquets, Redondo Suarez Gomez in order to protect their defensive unit.
Inter will be without Argentina international Lionel Messi as he recovers from an ankle injury suffered while competing for his nation in Copa America this summer. Additionally, Herons defender Alec Kann has been sidelined due to hip pain while Nick Hagglund remains sidelined due to a broken fibula suffered during their home loss against New England Revolution on June 23. Luckily however forward Matias Rojas should play for them; with 24 goals scored already this season and serving as an important member in an otherwise tough MLS season he should provide Matias Rojas will play important roles within their ranks.
CENTER BACKS
After taking a 10-day and month-long hiatus from Major League Soccer action, FC Cincinnati returns on the road against Inter Miami CF on April 7. They beat them 6-1 just prior to Leagues Cup break and should look to produce another memorable performance against an Inter Miami squad desperate for playoff berth.
The Herrons enter this match against FCC with a more balanced roster than when last they met them, due to Jordi Alba and Diego Gomez serving suspensions due to amassing too many yellow cards, while goalkeeper Matias Rojas still recovering from Copa America duty. However, their last trip saw an injury-stricken squad including right back Pablo Campana being out through injury as well as center back Tomas Aviles only starting partially due to a mild knee issue; Franco Negri came in as his replacement while defender Sergiy Kryvtsov started at center back with Tomas serving as backup; Aviles playing just 2 games as backup before finally replacing him in his starting spot alongside Sergey Kryvtsov who took his spot as back up front against Cincinnati last time out vs Cincinnati this time round!
Overall, however, it was an outstanding defensive effort as Luca Orellano and Yamil Asad combined for three goals and four assists – demonstrating just how vital having enough depth is when facing Inter’s powerful attack starring Lucho Acosta as Major League Soccer MVP and Pavel Bucha as their speedy right back.
These two will need to be prepared for a fast-paced game featuring plenty of long balls and crosses from midfield, which requires an impressive passing display from their defense unit in order to match Inter Miami’s forwards in terms of energy play.
Pat Noonan will likely employ the same strategy that was employed against Herrons, employing a four-man defensive unit supported by three wingbacks. That will place a significant amount of responsibility on center back Tomas Aviles who struggled against Patrick Agyemang in their previous encounter and must improve upon this performance with help from Chidozie Awaziem, Nick Hagglund and Yuya Kubo/Antoine Brizard as backup.
RIGHT BACKS
After taking a week-long break from league action, FC Cincinnati returns to TQL Stadium this Saturday evening against Inter Miami CF for a matchup that can potentially bring them within two points of securing an Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs berth with a victory.
Inter Miami held onto most of possession in the first half, although Luis Suarez scored their opening goal after finding himself unmarked at the back post in the 31st minute.
FC Cincinnati battled hard throughout the first half, despite an early deficit. Drake Callender made several key saves while center back Martinez helped keep their side’s nerves intact by clearing an offside ball off their line in the 76th minute.
Second half play was much more fiercely contested; an incident between Tomas Aviles and Kevin Kelsy saw Kevin Kelsy receive his second yellow card and forced Inter Miami to complete their match with 10 men.
Benjamin Cremaschi, Leonardo Campana, David Ruiz and Sergii Kryvtsov made substitutions in the second half for Redondo, Suarez, Gomez and Weigandt respectively; however despite these adjustments the hosts struggled to create any chance themselves.
Before the match began, both Matt Miazga and Nick Hagglund were put on the injured list; Miazga due to a cruciate ligament injury while Hagglund with an ankle issue. Both players had already missed much of this season due to recovering from injuries so it would fall to other members of the squad to fill this right back position void.
LEFT BACKS
Now that Major League Soccer Leagues Cup is back underway, FC Cincinnati and Inter Miami CF are facing off for another top-of-the-table clash. FC Cincinnati hopes they have their chance at their first win against an opponent that has defeated them all three times so far, although that won’t come easy.
As both teams vie to win the Supporters’ Shield, this match will be crucial for each side. A loss would mean no playoff run for Orange and Blue while victory would put them firmly in control of their title race. Below is how both sides will line up ahead of this monumental encounter.
While Tata Martino will miss Alec Kann and Nick Hagglund through injury, he still has various options at his disposal to fill those holes at the back. Tomas Aviles will join Sergio Busquets, Diego Gomez, Jordi Alba in filling those roles – while versatile forward Robert Taylor will make his first start since returning from international duty with Costa Rica.
At leftback, either Marcelo Weigandt or Ian Fray performed admirably against Cincinnati in their last outings and are expected to compete for playing time to replace injured Jordan Allen who was released at the end of June.
Weigandt has been in tremendous form for the Heron, notching an impressive 19 ball recoveries on his most recent appearance and dominating defensive midfield all night long. His ability to read the game will prove invaluable in this match-up for the home side.
Fray will look to continue his impressive run for Heron FC. The former Manchester United trainee has scored three goals and provided several assists during his initial four matches for the club, showing promise as an effective left-winger for them. Fray’s goal scoring exploits will certainly give Inter Miami reason to worry in this game, having yet to win away games since 2023!
